γ€€ Case I. If the servers in a computer room are less than 8 sets, you may use a set of KVM shifter (BE-102, BE-104D or BE-108D) to operate these servers with a keyboard, mouse and display at the main control terminal of KVM.
γ€€ Case II. If the quantity of servers in a computer room is between 8 and 64, you may use one to nine (BE-104D, BE-108D) KVM shifters (one for eight) to control them with a keyboard, mouse and display at the main control terminal of KVM.
γ€€ Case III. If the servers in a computer room are more than 64 sets, you may cascade nine groups of KVM (BE-108D) shifters (one for eight servers) to control 64 servers. Even if the servers in your computer room reach or exceed 300 sets, you only need to add one console at the main control terminal (console can be made according to requirement), and utilize the console to collect the display, keyboard and mouse. 300Γ·64β‰ˆ5, only with five main control terminals (one main control terminal requires a keyboard, mouse and display), you can completely control the 300 sets of servers in computer room
γ€€ For further safety, you may also use the advanced KVM products, which has two main control terminals, wherein on terminal is a long-distance control. By using five categories of twisted-pair, it can completely control the servers in computer room within the range of 150 meters. With such double-assurance operation and management, it is safer to control servers.
γ€€ For easier control, the KVM products used in computer room all have simple and east to understand OSD menu and automatic scanning function, which can set browsing time. For example, if the scanning time is set to 6 seconds, the display will automatically switch to the content of next server in 6 seconds. Generally, you have three kinds of operating types. The operations can be realized by using hot keys on keyboard, using OSD menu or using the switching button on KVM machine.
